If you can’t, here is a blog post just for you.ĭespite this show being out for eight years, this is my first time watching Highschool of the Dead. Which one is which? Well, if you know me from everything that I’ve written on this blog you can probably figure that one out. In this post I am going to talk about both shows in a short amount of time, because one series doesn’t have a lot of things to talk about behind it and I don’t want to spoil you on anything from the other one.
If you are familiar with both shows, then you know that they couldn’t be any more different from each other. I already spoiled you on what those two are, but the most interesting way of saying it is Japanese high schoolers fighting for survival in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. High School of the Dead receives a 6/10.Highschool of the dead and School Live are shows that I watched one after another because they cover similar plot ideas in different ways. The ending is not satisfying but certain scenes will be memorable. High School of the Dead is an anime that you shouldn’t take seriously and you should definitely not expect much when starting the anime. But it is an anime that all anime fans should watch due to how anime communities sometimes use this as memes and gifs for fun. High School of the Dead is a cliched and rather standard anime. There’s romance, but remember it’s still a harem! Summary This is what’ll give you your love/hate relationship with High School of the Dead. These are the points in the anime that you will be left with, and you’ll also find a lot of community create memes and gifs around these scenes. I can’t deny that some scenes in this anime aren’t memorable, they are just super funny or inappropriately beautiful. Indeed, it’s an ecchi and harem cliched sh*t fest! You’ll have the same harem cliches and most next episodes will be easily guessable. But once you finish you simply won’t be satisfied, I won’t go into detail so I can avoid spoilers. You’ll reach the ending and you’ll enjoy the anime. I feel like most people in the anime community have seen this and it just feels right to know what the anime is.
It was hard to up come with this answer but overall, it’s worth it.
YES, It’s Worth It… If You Can Survive The Cliches As these monsters begin terrorizing a high school, Takashi Kimuro is forced to kill his best friend when he gets bitten and joins the ranks of the walking dead. It happened suddenly: The dead began to rise and Japan was thrown into total chaos. It falls deep at certain points due to it’s extreme use of harem cliches. Ahhh, here we go, ecchi anime! High School of the Dead has a interesting story that’ll bring you through the whole series wanting to know more.
